Movies we've been watching

City of God (again, at the theatre!) - WOW! so interesting about the struggles in the middle east. not knowing much myself about the history, i found it incredible.

The Aviator (at the theatre even!) - very interesting. I knew nothing of Howard Hughes, and didn't know what to expect, other than Leonardo. I was intrigued enough about the character to get a couple of books at the library to find out more. Liked the flick.

Kill Bill I and II - Yikes! and Wow! Mike and I both gave the first four out of five stars...so coooool. Of course, I was on the edge of my seat for both movies. This set made me thankful that we aren't able to go see many movies at the theatre (though I would have liked the big screen!), because when the first ended so abruptly we just put the second in our netflix queue right away! Crazy!

The Incredibles - Fun for all! Love the caliber of actors/actresses for the characters. Grace liked it too--thought it was cool, but I think it might be just a tad too much action for her at 4.

I agree with Suzie, the films were of a quality to become classics. For some reason Tarentino can get away with making an incredibly violent film that is seen as "art". Part of it I believe is the story telling, and the suspense. I was smart enough to reserve both films at the same time so that I did watch them back to back.

The Incredibles was just as good. I have not had a chance to see the other two movies.
